British Petroleum admits “more oil than the 5,000 barrels a day it initially estimated is flowing from a burst oil well into the Gulf of Mexico” as reports BBC News in an article today. It might not be in the front pages anymore but the damage is expanding… in everysense. A real and very expensive problem for the gulf ecosystem and the nearby comunities.  Could it be possible to prevent such things?  There are laws and regulations and people in charge of enforcing them.  What else shall be done?

Greenpeace activists in London have managed to display this at BP headquartes.
